Wildwater at Origin Park is envisioned as a premier outdoor adventure and recreation destination that will serve as a major catalyst for tourism, programming, and long term sustainability within the park. The development will feature whitewater rapids with two channels including one designed for competition kayak enthusiasts at approximately 1,700 feet in length and a second recreational whitewater rafting channel extending roughly 2,500 feet. Beyond the whitewater experience itself, Wildwater is planned to include additional outdoor recreation opportunities, gathering spaces, spectator areas, trail connections, food and beverage offerings, and year round programming designed to create an active destination for visitors of all ages and experience levels.

As a signature attraction within Origin Park, the Whitewater Center will play an important role in increasing visitation, supporting regional economic growth, and creating sustainable revenue opportunities that help support the long term growth and stewardship of the park. With estimated annual visitation expected to exceed one million guests, Wildwater is anticipated to become a significant driver of tourism and economic development for Southern Indiana and the greater Louisville region.
