Formerly known as the Event Center, The Vista is an amazing addition to Origin Park. The 14,000 square foot building is designed to bring the community together. The surrounding garden spaces will become an “in-demand” venue for our community, allowing us to gather and celebrate on the Ohio River like never before.

The Vista serves as the social and programmatic heart of Origin Park, designed to bring people together through experiences that connect the community to the river, nature, and each other. Positioned to capture sweeping views of the Ohio River and downtown Louisville, the Vista is envisioned as a flexible gathering space capable of hosting concerts, festivals, educational programming, fitness activities, private events, community celebrations, and seasonal attractions throughout the year.


Beyond its scenic beauty, the Vista plays an important role in activating the park by creating opportunities for tourism, public engagement, and revenue-generating events that support the long-term sustainability of Origin Park. As the park continues to evolve, the Vista will become both a welcoming front porch for the community and a signature destination that helps define the overall visitor experience while reinforcing Origin Park’s role as a regional gathering place along the Ohio River.
